I really like the idea of scrolling a symptom list while reading the main message. Otherwise it's absolutely impossible to fit that in, in any meaningful way.
This one is right at 15 seconds when read out loud.
Voice: Do you have substantial impairment in your ability to participate in school, work, or social activities, which has lasted for more than 6 months?
Have you been unable to get properly diagnosed?
You may have ME/CFS, a serious biomedical disease which has recently been linked to an HIV-like virus called XMRV.
Simultaneously scrolling: Symptom list, followed by "For more info visit http://www.mcwpa.org
" with mcwpa logo
This PSA tells people what ME/CFS is, it will hopefully ring some bells with people who have the symptoms or know someone like that, it conveys that it's serious, it conveys that it's hard to diagnose, and that it's linked to XMRV which is somehow similar to HIV (and we all know what that is). And it tells people where to go to get more information (and hopefully then get diagnosed, get treatment, get involved in advocacy, etc.)
